Heat-shrinkable terminals combine a traditional electrical termination with a heat-shrinkable sleeve. Their conductive termination is formed by a heat-shrinking polymer sleeve, which tightly seals the connection. Additional defense against moisture and outside contaminants is provided by an internal adhesive liner that melts during the shrinking process. This architecture makes sure that cables and devices are connected securely.
