Heat-shrinkable terminals are made by combining a traditional electrical termination with a heat-shrinkable sleeve. They feature a heat-shrinking polymer sleeve that creates a conductive termination and a tight seal around the connection. To further protect against moisture and outside contaminants, the sleeve also features an internal adhesive liner that melts during the shrinking process. This architecture makes sure that cables and devices are connected securely.
